Abstract:
The article studies lending, which is a key source of financing for agrarian enterprises and provides effective attraction of investments and introduction of innovations that contribute to the sustainable development of the agrarian sector of the economy. It is substantiated that the agrarian sector plays an important role in the economy of Ukraine, remaining the main source of economic stability. However, businesses in this industry often face numerous challenges, including those related to the need for financing. To support the activities and implement modern technologies, investments are needed, which can come from both own and external sources. Financing not only contributes to the introduction of innovations, but also provides an opportunity to protect against risks, which is especially important in conditions of instability. The dynamics of lending to enterprises in Ukraine, including agrarian ones, is analyzed. The State program «Affordable Loans at 5–7–9%» has been studied, which constantly takes into account the needs of agrarian enterprises, also taking into account today’s realities of their functioning, financial challenges that arise under the influence of time changes and providing a larger range of farmers with affordable loans. It is found that lending to agrarian enterprises is an important tool that contributes to the introduction of innovations and the implementation of investment projects in agriculture. Thanks to access to financial resources, farmers can modernize production, introduce modern technologies, improve product quality and increase productivity, which has a positive effect on the competitiveness of the agrarian sector. The main directions of improving the system of lending to agrarian enterprises are proposed, which include a set of measures aimed at increasing the availability of financial resources, reducing interest rates and adapting lending conditions to the specifics of agrarian business. Prospects for further research in this direction are the study of the formation of a mechanism for innovative development of lending to agrarian enterprises to intensify investment activity.
