Abstract:
The article defines the essence of logistics management and reveals its role in the management of logistics processes at the enterprise and in supply chains. The aim of the article is to define logistics management as a basis for managing the efficiency of logistics processes and to group methods of analyzing the efficiency of logistics processes at the enterprise. The conceptual apparatus regarding the essence and features of logistics management in managing the efficiency of logistics processes at the enterprise and in supply chains is considered. It is determined how logistics management is integrated into the general system of enterprise management, namely, it has a close relationship with financial management, operational management, information technologies and marketing. The article analyzes the efficiency of the logistics process from the standpoint of its influence on increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise. The requirements for methods of analysis of logistics process efficiency indicators are summarized, namely for measurement, generalization of indicators and construction of an integral indicator of logistics process efficiency. The main key indicators that can be used by logistics managers to evaluate the efficiency of logistics processes at the enterprise are presented. Formulas are provided for calculating the main indicators and coefficients that can be used to conduct primary analysis and monitoring of the efficiency of logistics processes at the enterprise, in order to optimize links and processes that negatively affect the results of the enterprise. The article is focused on the formation of a comprehensive view of system processes and the role of logistics management as the basis for managing the efficiency of logistics processes at the enterprise and in supply chains.
