Abstract:
The article updates the issue of ensuring the technological competitiveness of the national economy. It is noted that for such purposes, the country should intensify the innovative and technological activities of enterprises and organizations, as well as ensure a good management system of the relevant processes at the macroeconomic level of management. The aim of the article is to generalize and further develop the methodology for researching the technological competitiveness of the national economy and its institutional support. An algorithm for analyzing the technological competitiveness of the economy has been developed. The stages of the methodology for researching the technological competitiveness of the national economy and its institutional support are defined and characterized. The first stage refers to the primary conclusions in this area regarding the state and level of technological competitiveness of the national economy, its sectors, types of economic activity, industries and, ultimately, strategically important economic entities; the second stage deals with the assessment of the impact of the achieved level of technology on socioeconomic progress; the third stage – with the identification of factors and causes of formation; the fourth stage – institutional, resource, infrastructural, market support; the fifth stage – the characteristics of the prerequisites for the formation of the processes of strengthening the technological and competitive positions of the national economy. It is proved that each of these stages has its own tasks, fulfills its role, serves as so called worldview aspect of research. The structural components of the institutional support of the technological competitiveness of the economy are determined as follows: normative-legal, organizational-managerial, institutional-resource, institutional-infrastructural, institutional-market, psychological-informational. The tasks and key subjects of scientific research, the selection of the most effective and adequate methods of economic analysis, the formation of justified analytical conclusions are indicated.
