Abstract:
In the presented article, it is proved that in the context of the social sciences, epistemological aspects of cognition of social phenomena, such as transfers, acquire special significance. The article also specifies that the concept of social transfers is a mechanism of a State-controlled or other type of social security aimed at reducing social inequalities, improving the standard of living of low-income segments of the population and maintaining social stability. Cognition of social transfers requires an integrated approach, because social transfers have not only economic, but also ethical, political, and social dimensions. They are the result of political decisions based on certain economic and social theories and interact with the real conditions of people’s lives. The epistemological approach to the cognition of social transfers allows us to find out how and why some theoretical conceptions of transfers gain popularity, while others are rejected. The article is aimed at determining the features and components of epistemological aspects of cognition of social transfers. The methods of the presented work are: analysis method, synthesis method, logical method, generalization method, observation method, induction method, deduction method, matching method, comparison method, graphic method. The cognition of social transfers is not only a technical or economic issue, but also includes important ethical, philosophical, and political dimensions that determine the efficiency and fairness of their distribution. The key is to understand that the process of cognition of social transfers requires the integration of various scientific approaches, ranging from the social sciences to the philosophy of cognition. Taking into account epistemological aspects allows you to critically evaluate the existing theoretical models and practices, revealing potential limitations and opportunities for improving the social security system. The ability of society to adapt to new knowledge and changing conditions is also important, which sets the task for the social sciences not only to analyze the existing transfer models, but also to find optimal ways to adapt them to new realities. Therefore, the cognition of social transfers through the prism of epistemology not only contributes to a deeper understanding of these processes, but is also the basis for improving social policy and increasing its efficiency and justice.
