Abstract:
The article is aimed at analyzing the competition policy of Ukraine: its formation, status, prospects of improvement in conditions of European integration, and its influence on the State. With the introduction of reforms, Ukraine’s antimonopoly policy was transformed into competitive policy. The main objective of the competition policy today is to protect the existing competitive environment and improve competitive relations. Research of the status of the competition policy of Ukraine has shown such key problems: 1) a significant part of the economy in shadow; 2) the monopoly position of the State in regulation of socio-economic processes; 3) prevalence of unfair and inefficient competition; 4) biased and incomplete information and analytical base, etc. It is shown that improvement of the competition policy of Ukraine in the conditions of European integration can contribute to: 1) more efficient antimonopoly regulation and strengthening the efficiency of competition; 2) deregulation of economy and introduction of the investment-innovative model of its development; 3) mutual coherence of competition, innovation, and investment policy; 4) creation of complete, reliable databases and integrated information-analytical systems; 5) more effective regulation of the State aid, etc.

Keywords: competition, competitive policy, monopolization, antimonopoly policy, European integration.
