Abstract:
The article emphasizes the lack of a unified methodology for analyzing the processes of modernization of internal trade in view of a number of its structural characteristics, such as: organizational, economic, institutional, financial, innovative, social, etc. It is proposed to adhere to a structural-step-by-step approach to the analysis of modernization of the internal trade system. Thus, at the first stage, it is recommended to analyze the state (determination of general and specific characteristics (per person, entity, unit of area, etc.), structure (identification of ratios of selected parameters), dynamics (substantiation of growth rates of indicators) and efficiency (calculation of turnover, profitability, financial stability, business activity, etc.) of the internal trade system. The main stage of the analysis involves checking for compliance with modern progressive trends, innovation and technological activity and efficiency in the proposed main directions and structural characteristics of the modernization of the internal trade system. At the final stage, managerial decisions are made to design the modernization of the internal trade system based on: the results of identifying weaknesses; identification of unrealized potential; modeling of vectors for accelerating modernization; determination of factors of innovation and technological development; assessment of the quality of management; identification of means to enhance competitiveness; identification of deficiencies in ensuring socioeconomic efficiency. It is concluded that the application of such an approach to the analysis of modernization of the internal trade system provides a comprehensive characterization, on the one hand, of the functioning and modernization of the industry, on the other hand, of the efficiency of the State regulation of the processes of its development.
