Abstract: The Industry 4.0 conception, considered a phase of the Industrial Revolution, was proclaimed by President Klaus Schwab at the Davos World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2011. Already in September 2015, at the UN summit in New York, the final document, titled «Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development» was presented, where its global goals were defined. The developed countries of the world have passed five technological modes, and at present there are processes of transition to the sixth mode, in which the most important role is played by the processes of production of complex knowledge-intensive products. The economy of Ukraine remains in a state characterized as industrial, that is, it corresponds to the features of the fourth technological mode and does not provide opportunities for structural changes towards the development of high-tech industries. In addition, in the light of recent events related to russian military aggression, there is an urgent need to develop our own military-industrial complex, domestic high-tech enterprises that will be able to produce and supply high technological level weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From such positions, there is a need to analyze the best practices of world leading companies, their successful innovative practices for the development of their own strategic instruments and effective management tools for the development of domestic enterprises, the formation of their innovative potential. A certain range of problems of managing the innovation potential of domestic enterprises in extremely difficult conditions of martial law acquires a new meaning and requires the development and formation of modern approaches to their solution. The article analyzes the conceptual framework and summarizes the principles and approaches to the formation of the innovation potential of domestic enterprises.
Keywords: development, high-tech industries, strategic priorities, smartization, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, conceptual provisions and principles, formation of innovation potential, strategic instruments.
