Abstract:
The article examines modern approaches to the implementation of socially responsible management through the practical implementation of social values embedded in the conception of sustainable development. Attention is focused on the features and differences between various manifestations of social responsibility of business. The key groups of values – economic, ecological and moral – are singled out, which determine the basis for the formation of an effective system of sustainable management within the enterprise. Features of management in conditions of instability are presented. The issue of business management based on the principles of sustainability is separately examined, its main features and implementation mechanisms are revealed. An analysis of the features of sustainable development management in the context of the formation of added value chains was also carried out. The work outlines a step-by-step process of making managerial decisions aimed at supporting the long-term development of economic entities. The potential benefits that the company receives as a result of the implementation of sustainable management approaches are considered separately. It is noted that business management in modern conditions requires the introduction of new managerial practices that meet the goals of sustainable development. This involves revising traditional management methods and models, taking into account socioeconomic and environmental priorities. It was concluded that the adaptation of the management system to the principles of sustainability is a complex and multi-level process that depends on the characteristics of the company and its interaction with key stakeholders. The optimal start for the transformation is the introduction of sustainable value chains, which allows for the integration of the principles of responsibility at all stages of activity. Focusing on international and domestic environmental and social reporting standards opens the way to achieving balanced, long-term results that combine both financial and non-financial business goals. And anti-crisis strategies are not only a reaction to a threat, but also a tool for strategic business renewal. They allow not only to overcome the consequences of the crisis, but also to emerge from it stronger, adapted to the new reality.
