Abstract: The article examines the theoretical, methodological, and practical principles for establishing a quality management system (QMS) for an agrarian enterprise in the context of globalization, digitalization, and increasing demands from international partners for production safety, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. It is defined that traditional single certification under a single standard (ISO 9001) is insufficient to ensure the long-term competitiveness of Ukrainian agrarian enterprises. The article aims to provide a theoretical basis and develop organizational and methodological principles for creating an efficient Integrated Management System (IMS) for the quality of an agrarian enterprise, capable of combining the requirements of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 with the capabilities of intelligent digital technologies. An analysis of global certification trends shows that IMS is shifting from being a competitive advantage to a basic requirement for integration into global supply chains. It is found that integrating intelligent systems (AI) into the quality management system (QMS) structure enables enterprises to move from reactive to proactive quality management—through the use of predictive analytics, real-time monitoring, and digital interaction across all departments. The scientific novelty of this work lies in developing an improved model of a quality management system for an agrarian enterprise, founded on the principles of integration, digitalization, and risk-oriented management. The proposed model ensures the synergy of quality, safety, environmental, and occupational health standards, considering the contemporary challenges of sustainable development and ESG-oriented management. The practical significance of this study is in identifying organizational and methodological instruments for implementing intelligent management systems in Ukraine’s agri-food sector, which will help enhance management efficiency, reduce production risks, strengthen export potential, and increase the investment attractiveness of enterprises.
Keywords: quality management system, ISO standards, agrarian enterprise, digitalization, competitiveness.
