Abstract:
The Ukrainian metal products market is a strategic driver of the country’s economic security due to its significant share in GDP formation, job creation, export potential, and support for other important sectors of the economy (such as construction, oil, machine engineering, transportation, food, energy, and others). Therefore, the production and sale of metal products are critically important for the development of Ukraine’s economic infrastructure in general and the regional economy in particular. The modern Ukrainian metal products market is characterized by developed infrastructure and increasing competition levels. The complicated conditions of the competitive environment in this market create a heightened need for efficient management of the business processes of metal trading companies, especially regarding their resistant components. The aim of this work is to closer define the concepts of «resistant behavior of a metal trading company» and «business processes of resistant behavior of a metal trading company», as well as to identify the main business processes of resistant behavior that have a significant share in forming the economic effect of a metal trading company. Based on the analysis and systematization of definitions of the category of resistance, the main stages, purposes, resistant functions, implementation problems, and economic effects of the business processes of the resistant behavior of a metal trading company, the concepts of «resistant behavior of a metal trading company» and «business processes of resistant behavior of a metal trading company» have been closer defined, the content of these concepts constitutes a part of the axiomatics of solving the problems of forming and developing the resistant behavior of a metal trading company. The main business processes of resistant behavior, which have a significant share in the process of forming the economic effect of a metal trading company, have been identified. The formation of the resistant behavior of a metal trading company is the result of a comprehensive approach to business process management. Success depends on the harmonious combination of strategic vision, operational efficiency, and supporting processes. Resistance becomes not only a tool for survival but also a competitive advantage in the dynamic market of metal products.
