Abstract:
European integration is considered a key factor in the economic changes in Ukraine during the wartime, contributing to the adaptation of the economy to the standards of the European Union. It is defined that, despite the wartime challenges, the country continues necessary reforms that promote its recovery and integration into the European economic space. The impact of the process of approaching the EU on Ukraine’s financial stability has been studied, especially in the context of international support. It has been revealed that financial assistance from the EU and international financial institutions plays a crucial role in maintaining macroeconomic balance and ensuring the balance of payments. The involvement of grants, loans, and investment programs that contribute to economic growth and post-war recovery is no less important. The process of trade liberalization, which opens new opportunities for Ukrainian exporters, has been analyzed. Simplification of customs procedures, elimination of tariff and non-tariff barriers, and harmonization of standards with European norms increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers. At the same time, the requirements for product quality and certification are strengthened, which stimulates the modernization of enterprises and the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The dynamics of infrastructure development in the context of European integration processes have been reproduced. Special attention is given to the modernization of transport corridors, the energy system, and digital infrastructure. The involvement of EU investments in these areas contributes to enhancing Ukraine’s logistics capabilities, improving transport connections with European countries, and expanding participation in international economic projects. It is determined that social partnership and economic responsibility are important components of Ukraine’s sustainable development in wartime conditions. The expansion of cooperation between the State, business, and civil society contributes to the growth of socioeconomic stability, job creation, and support for vulnerable strata of the population. The role of the European Union in financial support and political mechanisms that facilitate Ukraine’s integration into the European market has been substantiated. It is further determined that granting candidate status for EU membership has become an important political signal for international partners and investors. It is proved that European integration is not only a foreign policy course but also a driver of Ukraine’s economic recovery. It contributes to the stabilization of the economy, the development of social responsibility, the strengthening of institutional capacity, and the expansion of trade relations with the EU. It is found that in the conditions of wartime, European integration remains the main factor of economic transformation, modernization of State institutions, and strengthening of economic ties with the European Union, which is a guarantee of the country’s stable development in the future.

Keywords: European integration, sustainable development, modernization, social partnership, responsibility in the economy.
