Abstract:
Modern challenges in the agrarian sector, caused by global economic imbalances, changes in climatic conditions, wartime risks and instability of market relations, actualize the need for adaptive strategic management. In conditions of market turbulence and economic uncertainty, strategic management of economic potential provides flexibility and the ability to quickly respond to external challenges, while maintaining the stability of activities. Economic potential is a key element in the formation of the strategic set of the enterprise, which includes mutually agreed development strategies aimed at increasing the competitive status and sustainable development. Economic potential covers the totality of the material and technical, labor, financial, organizational and intellectual resources of the enterprise, as well as the possibility of their effective use to achieve strategic goals. Determining the level of implementation of economic potential allows you to identify the type of development strategy: growing, stabilizing, restructuring or crisis. Typology of strategies based on potential contributes to the formation of adaptive managerial decisions, taking into account both the internal characteristics of enterprises and external economic and social factors. This problem becomes particularly relevant in conditions of decentralization, changes in agrarian policy, limited access to resources and logistical barriers. The article proposes an approach to classifying agrarian enterprises by the level of use of their economic potential and substantiates the corresponding strategic development guidelines. The results of the study can be used to develop practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of strategic management at the level of farms, regions and the industry as a whole. To form a integrated and comprehensive assessment of the state of the enterprise, which is a complex system, to develop timely and economically feasible strategic decisions on enterprise management, the use of the conception of the economic potential of the enterprise is fully substantiated.
