Abstract:
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for implementing rehabilitation innovations in business structures as a tool for enhancing financial sustainability, competitiveness, and supporting the sustainable development of territorial communities. The essence of the concept of «rehabilitation innovations of business structures» is clarified and interpreted as a set of organizational, technological, financial, economic, and managerial solutions aimed at restoring the financial stability of enterprises, improving their operational efficiency, and strengthening their resilience under crisis conditions. The study substantiates the feasibility of establishing a specialized innovation center (or fund) to accumulate financial resources and jointly finance rehabilitation and innovation projects through cooperation among business entities, financial institutions, local self-government authorities, and other stakeholders. A theoretical and methodological approach to assessing the economic efficiency of introducing rehabilitation innovations is proposed, taking into account innovation and investment risk management principles. It is proved that the implementation of rehabilitation innovations contributes to the financial recovery of business structures, increases their investment attractiveness and innovation capacity, creates new jobs, expands local budget revenues, and strengthens the economic potential of territorial communities. One of the most challenging and resource-intensive stages of the innovation process is introducing the results of scientific research and development into the practical work of companies. Carrying out this stage requires significant financial resources, aimed at technical and technological upgrades of production facilities, digital transformation of production processes, conducting market research, developing human resources through staff training, as well as making the necessary organizational and managerial changes to ensure efficient commercialization of innovations. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed approaches when developing anti-crisis management mechanisms, implementing rehabilitation and innovation projects, and designing strategies for the sustainable development of business structures and territorial communities.
