Abstract:
The article substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations for forming an organizational and economic mechanism to ensure the efficiency of enterprise business processes in the context of digitalization. It is determined that digital transformation does not automatically improve the performance of business processes, as its effect depends on the coherence of organizational decisions, economic support, information-analytical backing, and the appropriateness of using digital technologies. The author’s definition of the concept of «organizational and economic mechanism» is proposed as an integrated system of interrelated organizational, economic, information-analytical, and digital-technological methods and tools of managerial influence aimed at diagnosing, coordinating, optimizing, monitoring, and adaptively adjusting business processes. The structure of the mechanism, which includes organizational, economic, information-analytical, and technological components, has been substantiated, and their functional purpose and interconnections have been defined. A functioning algorithm for the mechanism has been developed, which involves a sequential process of diagnosing business processes, evaluating their efficiency, identifying problem areas and causes of deviations, selecting appropriate organizational, economic, and digital tools, implementing management measures, monitoring results, and further adjusting business process parameters. The scientific novelty lies in creating an integrated mechanism with an adaptive feedback contour, ensuring cyclical managerial impact and a shift from fragmented use of digital technologies to systematic management of business process efficiency. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using the proposed mechanism to substantiate directions for digital transformation, increase productivity, reduce costs and process duration, as well as enhance their transparency, manageability, and adaptability.
