Abstract: The relevance of the problem is determined by the need for systematic monitoring of change management in agrarian enterprises under conditions of uncertainty, when a high level of financial and economic security is not always accompanied by sufficient resource capacity to implement transformations. The aim of the article is to develop a methodological approach to monitoring the state of change management to ensure a well-founded selection of strategic orientation and its implementation mode. The study employs methods of integral assessment, min–max normalization, trend analysis, general morphological analysis, matrix analysis, comparative analysis, and scenario analysis. The empirical basis comprises the financial statements of ten agrarian enterprises in Mykolaiv region for 2025 and the three preceding reporting periods. The interrelationship between the level of financial and economic security, financial and resource capacity for change, and the dynamics of the security status is examined. Based on the research findings, a morphological field comprising 30 strategic positions was developed, and four types of managerial behavior were identified: anti-crisis, adaptive, preventive, and transformational. The practical application of the approach revealed that 60% of the enterprises were classified within the preventive strategic zone and 40% within the anti-crisis strategic zone. It was found that none of the enterprises achieved sufficient or high levels of capacity for change. It was found that the level of security determines the need for change, resource capacity determines the permissible scale of change, while the dynamic stability index and trend determine the urgency and intensity of its implementation. A two-parameter approach to strategic positioning, incorporating dynamic adjustment of the implementation mode and cyclical reassessment, was substantiated. The application of the proposed matrix is recommended for strategy selection, prioritization of measures, identification of target trajectories, and adjustment of managerial decisions without creating additional threats to financial and economic security.
