Abstract:
The research focuses on the processes of ensuring sustainable and long-term functioning and development of enterprises and organizations, in particular in the small business sector. It is noted that the steady and stable progress of small business entities concerns the planning of almost all system and structural aspects. This includes the parameters of financial stability. So, there is a necessity of analyzing and evaluating the financial stability of small business entities at various levels, in particular, micro- and macroeconomic. Based on these principles, the aim of the research is to generalize existing approaches and practices and further develop the methodology for analyzing the financial stability of the small business sector at different levels of economic management. It is proved that a holistic system of analyzing the financial stability of economic entities at the level of small business involves the following vectors of analysis: provision of investments and financial assets; rationality of sources of formation of financial resources; cost of attracting and using financial assets; rationality of placement of financial assets; the quality and efficiency of financial risk management; the efficiency of the use of financial assets and capital; the ability of the enterprise's financial system to develop; the degree of realization of the financial interests of stakeholders. It is determined that when analyzing financial stability at the level of the small business sector, the goal is to draw conclusions that are similar in nature, but somewhat different in terms of applied significance. At this level, the State administration bodies face the task of determining not so much the state of financial stability of an individual economic entity, as their system (sector) as a whole, answering the question of how strong and stable the general financial system is in this segment of the national economy. It becomes important to analyze such criteria as the provision of financial resources in the small business sector; the volumes and structure of capital in the sector; the efficiency of the use of financial assets; the state of development of financial assets of the small business sector; the potential of the financial stability of the small business sector in comparison with the financial stability of the national economy in general.
