Abstract:
The article defines that Ukrainian enterprises are actively implementing innovations in various industries under current conditions, which is evidence of the high level of adaptability of Ukrainian business, striving to remain competitive by introducing innovative solutions even in challenging times. It is proved that the pharmaceutical industry is one of the most innovative sectors, driven by contemporary epidemiological challenges and the necessity for rapid adaptation to changes. It is proved that pharmacy leads in the level of innovation implementation, as evidenced by a significant number of scientific developments and an increase in investment in research activities. These very factors contribute to strengthening the industry’s position in the global market. A comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of innovations in the pharmaceutical enterprise is provided, which includes targeted, resource, and system approaches. An algorithm for determining the level of innovative activity of a pharmaceutical company is proposed. It is proved that before developing a strategy for the innovative development of a pharmaceutical company, it is necessary to assess the socioeconomic situation in the country, as well as to study the state of the pharmaceutical industry. Six main components for assessing the innovation activity of an enterprise have been identified, namely: technological, economic, ecological, marketing, social, organizational and managerial. It is proved that each component includes a certain list of indicators that should be taken into account in the integral assessment of the efficiency of innovation activity of a pharmaceutical enterprise.

Keywords: pharmaceutical enterprise, innovations, efficiency, methodology, evaluation indicators, innovation activity.
