Abstract:
In the era of digital transformation and globalization, business entities need high flexibility and agility, since traditional management methods such as the functional approach do not allow them to respond effectively to market challenges. In this context, the process approach in management is becoming more and more relevant in modern conditions, where enterprises are forced to quickly adapt to dynamic changes in the operating environment, competition, and technological development. The article is aimed at generalizing the theoretical aspects of integrating the process approach into the enterprise management system in the context of changes. The article analyzes the definition of the concept of «process approach» by different authors. It is defined that the process approach in enterprise management is aimed at understanding and managing the enterprise through a set of interrelated processes, while each of them contributes to the achievement of the ultimate goal. The process approach in the management system in the context of changes is studied, its key principles (such as result-orientation, continuous improvement and customer orientation), advantages and disadvantages are allocated; the impact of external and internal changes on management systems is substantiated, and the principles of change management in the context of a process approach, including transparency and communication, planning and phased implementation, continuous training and monitoring, are singled out. The integration of the process approach to the existing management system is illustrated. In particular, methods of integrating the process approach are studied, which include: analysis of current processes, building a map of business processes, and optimization of processes. The stages of implementation of the process approach are outlined as follows: planning, testing, and full integration. It is proved that the process approach allows you to focus on continuous improvement and optimization of processes, which is especially important in the context of maintaining the level of competitiveness of enterprises. Being result-oriented, this approach facilitates coordination between departments, reduces internal costs, and increases transparency in operations.
