Abstract:
Franchising is becoming an increasingly popular way to develop business both in Ukraine and in other countries around the world. This business model is effective for entrepreneurs seeking opportunities to start their own businesses with minimal risks. Franchising allows new entrepreneurs to leverage established brands, proven business technologies, and reliable support from franchisors, significantly enhancing their chances of success and reducing the likelihood of failure. Studying international experience in the field of franchising provides the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of trends, successful practices, and the peculiarities of this type of business in various countries. In particular, a detailed analysis of markets where franchising has already gained popularity opens new horizons for adapting these models in Ukraine. This can provide valuable insights for developing franchising models in the Ukrainian context, considering local conditions, cultural characteristics, and the specifics of doing business. The article analyzes the main trends and characteristics of franchising's functioning in the modern global economy. It explores the advantages and disadvantages for companies that utilize franchising models. Among the main motivations for entrepreneurs choosing franchising are the desire to reduce risks, access proven business processes, and receive support from more experienced market participants. Additionally, the article discusses opportunities for the development of this business and strategies for economic growth through franchising, including the importance of innovation and adaptation to changes in consumer behavior. Attention is also drawn to recommendations for effectively utilizing franchising to support entrepreneurial initiatives, attract investments to the country, and create a favorable business environment. We hope that the results of this research will serve as a foundation for the further development of franchising in Ukraine and contribute to stable economic growth, opening new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors in our country.
