Abstract:
This scientific article examines the current trends in the development of the green economy and their impact on international markets, with an emphasis on the need for sustainable development of enterprises in the context of the exhaustion of natural resources, increasing pollution levels and global environmental challenges. It is defined that the development of technologies and crisis situations, in particular the COVID-19 pandemic, have led to a rethinking of traditional economic models in socioeconomic life, so the green economy is becoming a new basis for international economic growth. Key trends in the green economy include the spread of renewable energy sources, efficient use of resources, reduction of carbon emissions, popularization of innovative ecological technologies, organic agriculture, environmental education, also waste management and the development of eco-transport. It is found that the support of government agencies, regulatory pressure and changes in consumer preferences force enterprises to adapt to new conditions and switch to modern ecological production models. The special role of ESG principles, which have become an integral part of the activities of enterprises and an important factor for attracting investors and gaining consumer favor, is allocated. Analyzing the research of both Ukrainian and foreign scientists, the importance of the development of the green economy for future economic growth, as well as the opening of new opportunities for international cooperation and attracting investments, is emphasized. The circular economy is singled out as a modern current trend, which is designed to minimize waste and reuse resources, which is also an important component of the sustainable development of society. Significant changes in international economic dynamics under the influence of environmental trends have been identified and the relevance of sustainable business in modern conditions has been determined. The introduction of the green economy is becoming a key factor in maintaining environmental sustainability and ensuring competitiveness in international markets.

Keywords: green economy, trends, international markets, ESG standards, sustainable development, environmental responsibility.
