Abstract: The article is devoted to the theoretical aspects of enterprise competitiveness management, which is an important factor for successful development in the conditions of a modern market economy. The aim of the study is to analyze, systematize, generalize and improve the theoretical foundations of enterprise competitiveness management. The study presents the main approaches to the definition of this concept, in particular, system and adaptive approaches, approach based on competitive advantages, approach to compliance with market requirements, instrumental and methodological approach. The article substantiates the importance of each of these approaches for the effective management of the competitiveness of the enterprise, which allows it not only to withstand competitive pressure, but also to achieve stable market positions. It is found that each approach focuses on different aspects of competitiveness, but all of them are aimed at ensuring the long-term success of the enterprise in the market. The study revealed the key factors that determine the competitiveness of an enterprise, including high-quality products or services, an innovative approach to production and marketing, the ability to adapt to changes in the market environment, as well as the efficient use of resources and technologies. Another important component is the ability of the enterprise to ensure financial stability and invest in innovations to maintain competitive advantages. The role of adaptability of the enterprise in a changing market environment is considered, which allows to quickly respond to new technologies, changes in consumer demand and other economic conditions. It is revealed that successful enterprises are able to form competitive advantages through the unique characteristics of products and services, as well as through effective management of their resources and constant innovation activity. The study showed that in order to ensure high competitiveness, it is necessary not only to adapt to market changes, but also to actively form development strategies that take into account future changes in the external environment. This allows businesses to maintain stable market positions and ensure long-term development.
