Abstract:
The article examines the actual problems of ensuring the economic security of enterprises (ESE) in the context of transformational changes in the modern economy, in particular digitalization and increasing global threats. The need to adapt the economic security system to new challenges, which become key factors influencing business stability, is highlighted. The aim of the study is to develop an ESE model that allows enterprises to respond effectively to modern threats and ensure resilience in the long term. During the study, the authors used the methods of comparative analysis, scientific generalization and research design were used to evaluate various approaches to the formation of the system of economic security. A new classification of functional components of ESE has been proposed, which covers digital and information security as separate elements. The findings of the study underline the importance of integrating digital indicators to monitor threats and automate security management processes. In the conditions of instability of the market environment and the need for rapid adaptation to the changing conditions of the business environment, the issue of forming the structure and components of the economic security system is of paramount importance. This is especially relevant for enterprises operating in highly competitive industries and seeking to maintain their strategic positions in the market. In view of this, the study of the structure and constituent elements of the system of economic security of enterprises in the context of transformational changes becomes a key element in ensuring the long-term competitiveness of the enterprise, which necessitates the rethinking of traditional managerial paradigms and the introduction of new methods. The results of the study can be used to improve the efficiency of management of economic security of enterprises in various industries, especially in high-risk conditions. Further research can be aimed at improving digital indicators for different types of enterprises.
