Abstract:
The article substantiates that construction is one of the leading sectors of the economy of any country in the world, and the main lever for ensuring the development of the Ukrainian construction industry is digitalization. The aim of the article is to elaborate and verify a methodical approach to assessing the digitalization of enterprises in the construction industry, which will take into account the specifics and current prospects of their development. To achieve this aim, it was necessary to: identify the features of the construction industry that characterize its development; form a view of the external environment of construction enterprises; consider the life cycle of buildings and structures; propose a classification of construction enterprises depending on the types of their activities; define and consider the stages and components of digital transformation of construction enterprises. It is proved that BIM technology is the most important complex technology that allows for full digitalization of a construction enterprise – from individual operations, business processes to a business model at all stages of the life cycle of a construction project; the correspondence of BIM levels to the stages of the life cycle of a construction object has been clarified; a digital business model of a construction enterprise is proposed; the tasks of BIM by stages of the life cycle of a construction object are summarized; a structural and logical diagram of digitalization of a construction enterprise is proposed; a methodical approach to a comprehensive assessment of the level of digitalization of a construction enterprise by types of its activities has been developed; the criteria for expert assessment of the level of digitalization of the activities of a construction enterprise have been formed. The elaborated methodical approach to assessing the level of digitalization was verified on the example of one of the Ukrainian construction companies, which made it possible to determine the directions of ensuring its digitalization, which are subject to priority improvement.
