Abstract: In the context of global crises and hyper-dynamic shifts in the world economy, the issue of effective and sustainable enterprise operation is of paramount importance. For an enterprise to function effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment in the long term, the need to develop new approaches to enterprise management comes to the forefront. Today, in global practice, strategic management is the tool used to ensure efficiency and competitiveness. A clearly defined strategy is the main output of strategic management, and this output must be precise and clear, producing positive results. However, if managers deliver something vague and fragmented instead, following such a strategy will only worsen the enterprise’s position in the market. The strategy should identify the business areas to focus on and help select the methods for managing the enterprise in the coming years – this makes it easier to manage departmental work, promptly spot risks, and allocate resources and finances. It is emphasized that, to achieve the set objectives and address development tasks, the enterprise may employ various strategies. There are numerous types of enterprise development strategies, including growth, downsizing, marketing, sales, investment, financial, and others. To facilitate orientation among the many strategies, different classifications are used, which allow them to be organized into a coherent system. Defining the enterprise development strategy contributes to the proper allocation of resources – financial, temporal, and human. The typology of strategic growth models enables agrarian enterprises to adapt more effectively to challenges and select the most appropriate strategies to achieve their objectives. The study identifies the dependence of the choice of growth strategy for agribusiness on the level of resource provision. The scenarios for enterprise development are generalized into four key situations – from high to critically low resource levels. This approach enables flexible adaptation of management decisions in an unstable environment.
