Abstract:
The article examines the complex impact of risk factors on the processes of formation and development of the economic potential of transport enterprises. The author systematizes the key determinants of risk, distributed across two hierarchical levels: macroeconomic and sectoral. At the macro level, the impact of the instability of the political situation, volatility of exchange rates, changes in tax legislation and the general state of the national economy on the investment attractiveness of the transport sector is analyzed. At the sectoral level, the focus is on specific risks, such as fluctuations in energy prices, depreciation of fixed assets, unfair competition in the transportation market and the dynamics of changes in logistics routes. Analysis of risk factors is an integral part of the formation of a development strategy for transport enterprises. Their competitiveness, financial stability and ability to sustainably reproduce resource potential depend on the timeliness and quality of the diagnostics of these risks. It has been found that the most significant are economic and financial risks, since they directly determine the stability of money flows and the level of profitability of enterprises. Organizational and managerial risks weaken the management system, reduce labor productivity and hinder strategic development. It has been proved that socioeconomic risks manifest through a shortage of skilled personnel, staff turnover, and increasing labor costs, which negatively impact the sector’s human resource potential. Environmental and regulatory risks impose additional burdens due to the need to comply with stricter standards and frequent legislative changes. It is substantiated that efficient management of economic potential in conditions of uncertainty requires the implementation of adaptive risk management mechanisms. A model of a methodological approach to studying the influence of risk factors on the formation and development of the economic potential of transport enterprises (macroeconomic and sectoral aspects) is proposed, which allows minimizing negative consequences and ensuring the strategic development of the enterprise.
