Abstract:
The article is concerned with an analysis of the influence of economic and production factors on the development of bio-oriented economy in Ukraine. It is defined that the modern development of science and biotechnology has become the basis for the formation and development of the conception of bio-oriented economy, which includes agriculture, food industry, forestry, fish farming and aquaculture, fuel production based on recoverable biological resources (biofuels), pharmaceuticals and selected spheres of the chemical industry. In order to analyze the development of the bio-oriented economy in Ukraine, it is proposed to explore the following economic and production factors, which together influence the resulting indicator: gross agricultural products; gross food industry products; investments in agriculture; the number of agricultural enterprises; gross added value of agriculture; employment in agriculture. It is defined that gross agricultural products, gross food production, investments in agriculture, the number of agricultural enterprises are the factors that demonstrate positive dynamics and their quantitative expressions increase over time. Other factors, as included within this study to the economic and production, are characterized by negative dynamics, that is, a fall, which in general will negatively impact the development of sectors of the bio-oriented economy.
