Conception of Sustainable Development in the Legislation of Ukraine and the Countries of the World, Practice of its Implementation (p. 85 - 95)
The article is aimed to analyze the legislative regulation for ensuring the sustainable development of world's countries and Ukraine, as well as practice of regulation of the sustainable development and determining, on this basis, directions of the further development. In order to achieve the desired goal, the article examines elements of the mechanism for regulating the sustainable development. The legal framework for sustainable development of Ukraine and its regions has been analyzed. The peculiarities of interpretation of the term of «sustainable development» in the legislation of Ukraine have been considered. The institutions of civil society in Ukraine, which can contribute to sustainable development, have been determined. Experience in regulation for sustainable development of other countries, such as Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Germany has been analyzed. Specific features of regulation for sustainable development in the CIS countries also were taken into consideration. Areas for further improvement of the legislation and practice of regulation for sustainable development in the countries of the world have been identified.
