The Development of Internal Market as a Way to Enhance the National Competitiveness (p. 58 - 63)
The article is aimed at integrated studying the main tendencies in the development of internal market as a way to enhance the national competitiveness. The article considers the process of implementation of the policy of successive introduction of activities directed towards creating an institutional framework to stimulate the generation and support the development of the internal market of Ukraine. It has been found that Ukraine’s current competitiveness and its global status depend primarily on the economic efficiency of the economy system and the adequacy of its institutional organization. The ways of stimulating the solvent demand of population for domestic production through the development of real mechanisms and instruments relating to the progressive approximation of wages and the State social security towards Eastern European standards were analyzed. The need for radical changes related to reorientation of the domestic producer to the internal market and implementation of the import substitution strategy. Prospect for further research in this direction is substantiation of the issues of internal market regulation in the context of changing the foreign economic priorities in the State policy.
