Problems of Conduct of Monitoring During Formation of the State Policy of Development of Tourism in Ukraine (p. 52 - 57)
The goal of the article lies in the study and detection of problems of monitoring during formation of the state policy of development of tourism industry in Ukraine. Having analysed and generalised works of leading scientists that deal with the said problems, the article considers main methods of study of tendencies of development of the tourism industry. The article assesses the content of the programme document of development of the tourism industry in Ukraine (State Programme of Tourism Development for 2002 – 2010) in the context of justification of identification of problems in the industry; analyses scientific approaches of scientists, by which the industry development problems are marked, and assesses a possibility of their use as a basis for monitoring by state institutes; and selects indicators for monitoring of problems of tourism industry development in Ukraine with their division by spheres. The article proves a necessity of development of methods of monitoring of tourism industry development, the use of which would allow establishment of cause problems and form a state policy of their solution by state institutions. The prospect of further studies in this direction is the study of problems of regulatory and legal regulation of tourism industry development in Ukraine.
