Model of Transition to Organic Production of Field Vegetables (p. 183 - 188)

The article considers the state and prospects of the process of ecologisation of agricultural production and market of organic products in Ukraine. It describes a multi-stage line of transition from traditional to organic system of production. It considers the process of formation of costs in organic production of field vegetables. It provides a list of requirements to the system of organic crop production. It shows efficiency of organic vegetable-growing when compared with inorganic on the basis of practical foreign studies. It analyses alternative variants of introduction of stages of production of organic field tomatoes. It offers a model in the form of a tree of objectives for justifying an optimal transition of domestic agrarian enterprises to organic field vegetable-growing, which allows a farmer to make an optimal managerial decision. It shows schemes that ensure highest profit, low costs, big crop and high profitability of production of organic field tomatoes in Ukraine.
