The Formation of the Value-Added Chain of Agrarian Enterprise (p. 184 - 190)

The article is aimed at defining and analyzing the alternatives of formation of value added in the enterprises of agrarian industry. It is found that the worth of value added as a performance indicator is that it demonstrates part of the value of products created by enterprise, which is formed by the modification of the purchased raw and other materials through the use of labor, technology, innovation and covers all the costs incurred by the enterprise in creating this product, providing a certain profit. Agrarian enterprises have a number of alternative options of creation of the value added both at the stages of production and storage, and at the stage of sales. Consideration of variant alternatives helped to identify that for modern farm the most advantageous is the cultivation of high-quality crops using precision farming technologies and irrigation systems; covering of own need for seeds for the next period at the expense of own product; independent transportation, processing and storage of grain, as well as sale at the most peak prices at the market. Further directions of research will be a deeper study of approaches to calculating value added, identification of new alternatives and their evaluation, theoretical and mathematical analysis of alternatives in the context of specific cultures or groups of products.
