The dynamics of innovative development of industry of Ukraine is analysed in the last few years, its tendencies and reasons are exposed innovative technological lag. Directions modernization of industry are offered in the context of alteration of the national innovative system and measure of its state support. It is well-proven that innovative development of country, will give competitive edges in the conditions of the modern European and world market.
