Conceptual Model of Pipeline Organization of the Project Portfolio Management (p. 92 - 98)
The article proposes organization of project management and management of the organization through the projects, aimed at profit earning not from individual projects, but from the totality of pipeline projects as a whole by reducing the length and cost of their implementation. The centerpiece of the model is life cycle of the portfolio of projects. In order to effectively manage the portfolio of projects, the authors have proposed a model of pipeline organization of the project portfolio management. In the model, implementation of projects is viewed as a set of processes going through the management pipeline. Each service or each worker performs the same management functions, but does this in different projects and at different time. The model makes it possible to shorten the time limits and reduce the cost of projects, implement projects continuously and evenly.
