Using Innovations in Dairy Breeding Sector of Cherkasy Region (p. 162 - 168)
The article is aimed to study the efficiency of using experience from implementation of innovation in foreign companies, which are engaged in dairy farming, and the best domestic agricultural enterprises. The article analyzes trends of milk production in the Cherkasy region, the dynamics of economic indicators of its efficiency. The reasons hampering the development of innovation activity in the dairy breeding sector have been disclosed. Influence of the cow population on the economic viability of dairy production as well as experience of the best agricultural enterprises have been considered. It has been reasoned that to achieve the best results in the dairy breeding the industry sector must be provided with sufficient quantity of high quality foods, the optimal current technology must be introduced. Although as in Ukraine in general, so in the Cherkasy region in particular, there are competitive enterprises engaged in dairy breeding, their innovative-investment provision is not sustainable. Therefore, this issue requires more detailed study and analysis. And because our country is gradually emerging on the European markets, we should pay attention to the dairy breeding in the leading agricultural countries in the world. Thus, reorganization of innovation activity and transfer of foreign experience in this matter is very important, as the use of innovations in dairy breeding helps to improve the efficiency of this industry sector of the country's economy.
