Directions of Innovative-Technological Development of Industrial Production of Region (p. 58 - 62)
In the article an analysis of strategies for innovative-technological development of the industrial potential of region is conducted. At the present stage of choosing ways for innovative-technological development implementation of the four strategies is possible: strategy of imitative technologically dependent type; strategy of progressive technologically independent type; development of innovation centres; innovative breakout. The underlying principles and priorities of strategies have been considered. It has been proposed to use the experience of China and Singapore in the promotion of high-qualified personnel training in the developed countries of the world as the conditions for implementing the strategy of innovative breakthrough. This approach allows to quickly and efficiently transfer knowledge by stimulating the returning home of graduates from prestigious universities and their employment at leading national universities, research laboratories and research centres of industrial corporations. It has been noted that under present conditions there is an acute need for global modernization of the technology base of the country and regions, as well as formation of innovation orders by the State for the both civil and defence sectors.
