Effective Cost Management of Swine Breeding Production (p. 113 - 120)
The article is aimed to develop practical recommendations for implementation in the enterprises for producing the swine breeding production organizational-economic foundations of effective cost management. The latter are defined as a dynamic totality of systems, methods, models, calculation techniques, which are used to regulate the costs level during the different periods of life cycle of a business entity, determine the profit from operations, managerial decisions as to sales time and price, increase or decrease in volumes of production, product updates, monitoring and controlling the total cost volume. The study results specified the sequence of use in enterprises for producing the swine breeding production of the complex of elements of Total Cost Management system. The expediency has been substantiated and the consistency in applying the cost management technology of «target costing» and «kaizen costing» in the enterprises has been detalized. Features of management of the minimizing production costs process when generating plans for producing the swine breeding production on specific orders have been described. Prospects for further research in this area will be inclusion of the above methods of cost management in the strategic marketing strategy of enterprise's activity, related to swine breeding production, introduction of a comprehensive system of cost management during change of the activity life cycles, including the standard costing, benchmarking, analyzing the chain of value, management by the responsibility centers, strategic cost management, strategic and operational controlling.
