Analysis of the Inter-Industry Development Relations of Pathological Crisis Phenomena in the Real Sector of Economy of Ukraine (p. 48 - 53)
The publication is based on the assumption that close inter-industry relations in the economy can facilitate the penetration and development of crisis phenomena from one branch of the real sector to another. The research was aimed to explore the relations between pathological crisis developments in various branches of the real sector of economy of Ukraine and to identify the most influential sources of such phenomena on the basis of an analysis of dynamics of inter-industry cooperations. Based on the analysis of the «costs – output» tables for the economy of Ukraine in the time span of 2003-2012, the relationship of increasing material efficiency with development of crisis phenomena in metallurgy and machine-building was revealed. The study showed that the most significant were the mutual positive effects between trade imbalances in metallurgy, coke and petroleum production and chemical industries. An analysis of relations between investment imbalances and solvency allows to assert that the solvency crisis in one industry may facilitate crisis emergence and development in the industries, which act as suppliers. Most significantly, this effect is manifested in the relations of agriculture and machine-building industry.
