Preconditions for Development of Vegetable Production in the Melitopol Rayon of Zaporizhzhia Region (p. 132 - 137)
The article is aimed at studying the achieved level of the economic efficiency of producing vegetable production in the agricultural enterprises of Melitopol rayon of Zaporizhzhya region, and identification of the main directions of its increase. The dynamics of profitability of the crop production has been analyzed, the current level of the economic efficiency of vegetable production at the agricultural enterprises of the rayon has been examined. A scheme of priorities for intensifying the vegetable production has been proposed. Using the rating method for the quantitative risk evaluation, areas of risk in terms of activities of the agricultural enterprises of the rayon have been determined. Using the Altman's model, probability of bankruptcy of the enterprises has been calculated. Necessity of development of the industry sector on the innovation basis has been substantiated.
