The Institutional Approach in the System of the State Regulation of the Relations of Actors of the Electricity Market (p. 42 - 48)
The article analyzes the notion of institutions from the standpoint of evolution of approaches to this economic category. By relying on the thesis that relations between participants of the electricity market have the non-linear nature (due to the use of multiple transactions and infrastructural elements as tools of interaction of actors), the role of institutions has been outlined, providing the main factors of functioning of the electricity market as an integrated economic system in the long term perspective. The dependence of efficiency of the formation of relations of actors from the orderliness and regulatedness of the institutional structure of the electricity market has been determined. Expedience of use of the institutional theory in the field of the State regulation has been substantiated that allows to comprehensively examine the full range of options for building the mechanism for interaction of actors of the electricity market. It has been proved that setting the system of relations of participants of electricity market in the context of the institutional approach not only reflects the scientific essence, but also has practical value for its efficient regulating.
