Features and Ways to Improve Financing for Development of Agriculture in Ukraine (p. 194 - 198)
In the different stages of the operation of agriculture, problems related to financial security are dominating. An analysis of the current status of the agricultural industry suggests that it is experiencing a lack of financial resources that can be obtained through the use of credit resources or using own capital. The article considers the main tools and methods of the State support for agricultural financing in Ukraine, which include the use of budgetary, fiscal, customs, monetary-credit, price, and investment policies. The major problems have been identified: reduction of volumes of the State support for agriculture; inaccessibility of credit resources due to high interest rates; absence of account of the works seasonality and others. The sustainable development of the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy depends to a large extent on the efficiency of agrarian policies and the proper participation of the State in its formation and implementation. In order to improve the financial status of agricultural enterprises, there is a necessity to improve credit policies that, in the essence, would reduce interest rates and would stimulate the long-term loans.
